The iPhone 5-New Screen Set For This Forthcoming Model

The iPhone 4 proved one of the best selling mobile handsets of all time thanks to a blend of eye catching looks and impressively high specification. The handset was not without its flaws though and many lovers of the phone would like to see some improvements and the perfect place to introduce these would be on the brand new iPhone 5.

Ask any iPhone owner what they would like to see from a new model and many would state that a larger screen would be a huge advantage. Two years ago the 3.5inch screen that was offered on the iPhone 3GS was one of the largest available and helped the handset stand out against its competition. Recently other manufacturers have upped their game and we see top end handsets from the likes of Samsung and HTC offering a 4.3 inch display and leaving Apple in their wake. It seems that Apple will give the public what they want on the new model with rumours of a 3.7 inch and a 4inch display doing the rounds. One thing is for certain however, Apple will not implement a larger screen if it means other areas such as screen resolution and battery life are compromised so it will be interesting to see what is included when specification about the new model is released. A large screen will benefit many uses from video playback to web browsing but with reference to the latter one feature that is desired but highly unlikely to be included is Flash support. It seems as though we may have a long wait before the iPhone truly delivers the ultimate online experience.

The iPhone 5looks set to be packed full of updates and new features but one area where multi media fans would like to see an improvement is with the phones camera feature. Yes the iPhone 4 sported a great quality camera but many consumers tend to judge a cameras quality on the resolution that it offers and at 5 million the iPhone 4 fell short of what the likes of Nokia and Sony were offering. Expect this to be rectified with the new model although a massive jump to 10 or 12 mega pixels is unlikely. More realistic is an 8 mega pixel camera which means that combined with the superb sensor that Apple use the camera facility may be very special indeed. In fact the iPhone 5 may prove the best mobile of all time for snapping those special moments. The new operating system will also enhance this feature by enabling the user to launch the camera application directly from the lock screen.

The screen and camera are two key areas that consumers look at on any mobile device and it seems inevitable that Apple will address this with the iPhone 5. If the changes we speak of above are made then we may well be looking at the release of the best phone ever made.

The iPhone 5 is coming soon and the Samsung Galaxy S2 is available now.
